AKI TSUYUKO

일본의 음악가이자 비주얼 아티스트 Aki Tsuyuko는 전자 오르간과 피아노를 중심으로 섬세하고 유기적인 사운드를 선보여온 작곡가이다. 어린 시절부터 일본무용과 전자 오르간을 배우며 음악적 기반을 쌓았으며, 에릭 사티의 음악에 깊은 영향을 받아 자신만의 작곡 세계를 구축했다. 1990년대 중반부터 노부카즈 타케무라와의 협업을 통해 활동을 시작했고, 솔로 앨범 《Ongakushitsu》(2000)와 《Hokane》(2006)를 발표하며 국제적인 주목을 받았다. 피아노, 오르간, 전자음향을 자유롭게 넘나드는 그의 음악은 동화적이면서도 실험적인 감각으로 독자적인 세계를 펼쳐 보인다.

Japanese musician and visual artist Aki Tsuyuko is a composer known for her delicate and organic soundscapes built around electronic organ and piano. Having studied traditional Japanese dance and electronic organ from an early age, she developed a distinctive musical language deeply influenced by the works of Erik Satie. She began her career in the mid-1990s through collaborations with Nobukazu Takemura and gained international recognition with her solo albums Ongakushitsu (2000) and Hokane (2006). Freely moving between piano, organ, and electronic sound, Tsuyuko creates a unique musical world that is at once whimsical, intimate, and quietly experimental.
