I.M.F

I.M.F는 모방(Imitation), 변형(Modification), 날조(Fabrication)의 영문 앞 글자를 딴 노이즈 록 밴드다. 과거 한국 사회가 급격한 성장 속에서 건너뛴 서구 음악 서브컬처의 한 부분을 엮어내어 노이즈 록이라는 이름으로 재현한다.

폐허, 밤섬해적단, Gawthrop 등으로 활동해 온 장성건(기타·보컬), 만동, 유기농맥주 출신의 함석영(기타), Peach Truck Hijackers의 이세정(드럼), 즉흥 노이즈 듀오 THSS와 컬렉티브 듀오 dpgp78로 활동 중인 민성식(베이스)로 구성되어 있다.

I.M.F is a noise rock band whose name is derived from the initials of Imitation, Modification, and Fabrication. The band weaves together elements of Western music subcultures that Korean society skipped over amid its rapid development, recreating them under the name of noise rock.

The band consists of Jang Sung-gun (guitar, vocals), who has been active in Pyha, Bamseom Pirates, and Gawthrop; Haam Seok-young (guitar), formerly of Mandong and Organic Beer; Lee Se-jeong (drums) of Peach Truck Hijackers; and Min Sung-sig (bass), currently active in the improvisational noise duo THSS and the collective duo dpgp78.

I.M.Fは、模倣（Imitation）、変形（Modification）、捏造（Fabrication）の英語の頭文字を取ったノイズロック・バンド。韓国社会が急速な成長の過程で通り過ぎてきた西洋音楽のサブカルチャーの一部を編み直し、ノイズロックという名のもとに再現する。

メンバーは、廃墟、夜島海賊団、Gawthropなどで活動してきたチャン・ソンゴン（ギター、ボーカル）、万東、有機農ビール出身のハム・ソギョン（ギター）、Peach Truck Hijackersのイ・セジョン（ドラム）、即興ノイズ・デュオTHSSとコレクティブ・デュオdpgp78で活動するミン・ソンシク（ベース）。
